Modular Household Lighting Range
Nodi Modular lamp range features a universal magnetic frosted glass orb that seamlessly transitions between different SLA-printed housings. Priced as the premium element, the orb contrasts with the more affordable housings, allowing for effortless style updates.
Design For Manufacture
All housings were designed with ease of manufacturing and assembly in mind. Each unit is 3D printed in two parts and secured with M4 self-tapping screws, allowing for straightforward access to the internal electronics during production, maintenance, or repair.
Expansion
Currently, there are four completed housings, all produced using SLA 3D printing. Looking ahead, I plan to expand the collection by designing additional housings and exploring alternative materials such as stone, brass, and aluminum to introduce new textures, finishes, and sensory qualities to the system.
Electronics & Power Supply
Nodi is powered by a 12V system that drives its custom LED modules. The modular, magnetic connectivity is enabled by pogo pin connectors, allowing each component to snap into place while maintaining a consistent electrical connection.
